For the last 10 years Dr. Beyer has been seeing patients in the WNY area. She grew up in Orchard Park and is happy to now reside in West Seneca with her husband Jack, and kids Abby and Alex. On Fridays throughout the year you may see her playing violin in the Orchard Park Symphony Orchestra. She also enjoys baking, crafting, and watching the Buffalo Bills.
Rebecca L. Pietrasik, O.D. Dr. Pietrasik majored in Biology and earned a bachelor of science degree from SUNY Geneseo. After college, she attended the SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan. She then completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the West Haven Veterans Hospital in Connecticut. A Cheektowaga native, Rebecca was excited to move back to Western New York to practice after her residency.
Dr. Pietrasik now practices primary care optometry. She fits contact lenses ranging from first time children's fits to multifocal and monovision contact lenses for adults. She also manages and treats several ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, cataracts and diabetic retinopathy.In her free time, Dr. Pietrasik enjoys traveling and staying active running and doing yoga.
Education: B.A. in Biology from SUNY at Buffalo, Optometry doctorate from Salus University in Philadelphia, PA and an eye disease residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL.
Interests: Jim lives in the city of Buffalo and enjoys all that this great city has to offer along with all of the outdoor activities that can be found in Western NY's four-seasons.
Dr. Kalindi Desai attended the University of California, Los Angeles and earned degrees in Psychobiology and Education. She received her doctorate from the State University of New York, College of Optometry in 2006.
Dr. Desai's clinical experience includes training at the University Optometric Center in New York; an externship specializing in Contact Lens, Cornea, and Prosthetics; and Primary Care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She has been practicing in Buffalo since 2010.
Dr. Desai specializes in comprehensive eye care, including visual, accommodative and ocular health assessment, and dry eyes.
Dr. Desai is avid about living a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Patricia Andolina grew up in the Southern Tier. She attended Penn State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry. Upon completing her degree, she went on to do a residency in Pediatric Vision and Vision Therapy at the State University of New York College of Optometry. Dr. Andolina has been practicing in the Rochester area for over 33 years and with Whelpley & Paul for 28 of those years. She is proud to be part of such a caring and professional team. She hopes to continue to meet the specific visual needs of each patient she sees.
Dr. Morgan Dulski grew up in the small town of Alden, NY. Her love for optometry all began after shadowing an optometrist at Value Vision. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mercyhurst University. She then moved to Boston, MA to earn her Doctorate of Optometry degree at New England College Of Optometry. Dr. Dulski is very excited to be back in the Buffalo area practicing with the Dr. Beyer's Optical team.
Born and raised in Tonawanda, NY. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Visual Science and his Doctorate at Illinois College of Optometry in 1986: Prior to finding his home at Buffalo Optical in 1992, Dr Pronti worked with Dr. Richard Randall (Geneseo, NY), LensCrafters (Bruce R. Hankin & Associates) and Sterling Optical.Dr. Pronti is an active member and Grand Knight at the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Benincasa Council 10868. He is a former Boy Scouts of America Cub Master and Eagle Scout, a Camp Fire USA Co-leader and Religious Education Teacher and Counselor. He is a member of the American Optometric Association.Dr. Pronti has been married for 37 years to his wife Cindy. They have three grown children.
Dr. Clarke is a native of Rochester, NY where she graduated from St. John Fisher College after majoring in international relations. Following her undergraduate studies, she went on to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and received her doctorate of optometry (OD). Dr. Clarke enjoys practicing primary care optometry and managing various ocular conditions including corneal and anterior segment disease. She is also skilled in caring for glaucoma and macular degeneration patients. In her free time, Dr. Clarke loves hiking, photography, and spending time with her daughter.
Dr. Gardner grew up in Eden, NY, and earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Niagara University. He then went on to further his education and receive his doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Optometry.
Dr. Gardner has clinical experience in managing various eye conditions including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and dry eye. He performs routine and problem-focused eye examinations, as well as, contact lens fittings. For fun, Dr. Gardner enjoys playing hockey and watching the Buffalo Bills.
